Though born and raised in the City of Detroit, Deb has lived in various cities in SE Michigan from her first 450sqft apartment over a 2-car unheated garage, to a townhouse in what was known as Pontiac Twp. (Auburn Hills) and then her first home in Redford. Her husband’s job took them to Missouri for 9 years, and when they returned in 1996 they settled in White Lake Township.

Deb is married to her high school sweetheart (David) with whom she has 2 grown daughters and grown son, along with a son in-law and daughter in-law. She is a loving grandmother, and chief spoiler to 3 adorable granddaughters as well as her 2 grand pups.

Deb’s interest in real estate did not peak until she began working for General Motors Worldwide Real Estate. Helping them move their documents from the old GM building to the Renaissance Center. This was supposed to be a three-month contract position which ended up lasting her 5 years. This turned into research, as well as scanning and cataloging all historical documents. Deb started helping with documents and due diligence for transactions and her interest in real estate grew. Seeing this, she was encouraged by her coworkers at GM to get her real estate license.

In 2001 she received her salesperson license and went to work for Fox Reality Services LLC in Waterford which subsequently became, The Fox Group. She started out doing limited real estate transactions, but each year her transactions increased. She set out and acquired her broker’s license in 2015, and in 2016 she took over as managing broker for The Fox Group. In 2019 the Fox Group owners decided to become a franchise.  With that being done Deb made the decision to stay an independent Broker/Agent. With encouragement and along with two other former Fox Group agents, in April of 2019 she opened up and manages New Door Realty.

When not working on the key to your new door, Deb enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, gardening, and reading.
